Good but impossible to close GPS down if you do not want to use GPS.

Ive been using this app for a few months and I like it. Its a simple way to see the data from the iPhone GPS. Works well, no complaints.

Ive been using this app for a few years and its great to be able to see all available GPS data on the device. One improvement would be the addition of the GPS time as it can be different to the device time by quite a few seconds.

Runs in the background when you have it closed and kills your battery. You have to force it closed.

I have an external GPS receiver that works with the IPad2 and this application tracks all of the relevant data quickly and accurately. I would actually pay $1 to remove the ads but thats not an option. Kudos to the developer!

Three to five seconds after opening this app the app closes and takes me to my home page. It looks promising but isnt working for me.

Am I asking too much to say that an app called "GPS Intel" should include things like satellite availability and location? And yes, the app is free, but I gotta admit that the "blank-screen" ad interference algorithm is most annoying, and will cause me to stop putzing around with the app altogether if a 99¢ version isnt made available in short order.

OK for free but didnt include what I expected, namely satellite info like what you would get on a PND status page, to see which satellites are locked in and which are not. I would also like to change the format of the coordinates. Add that and its 5-star!

This app has an information screen that explains why it cannot get location for iPad saying iPad does not have gps chip. That is definitely incorrect.. All other location based apps can get accurate locations on my iPad.

First off, the other reviewer is WRONG! Not all iPads have the gps chip...only the ones with the sim card/3G 4G has the gps chip. I learned the hard way. App is great and has lots of useful info. I would give it 5 stars if it could show the satellite map or at least how many satellites you were connected to.

Simple. Powerful. Easy to use!

The app provides a lot of information but it kills the battery when youre not using it. I cant say for sure how long it takes before the battery runs flat but I had a completely full charge on my 4S when I went to bed and the battery was totally flat in the morning. As much as I like the info the app provides, an app that I have to force close does not belong on my phone.

This app keeps the GPS functions active when it closed inactive, therefore killing the battery. Make an update that stops GPS tracking when its not actively open and ill give a better review.

After installing this app, I was worried about my iPhone because it became very hot in a couple of hours. I turned it on and found that the battery was very low. Then I read reviews for newly installed apps and found that this app kills the battery. I do not think that this app is supported, because in spite of fact that there were so many complains about the power usage, the last update was released a year ago. I do not really know how Apple allowed publishing this app in the App store, being so aggressive about the power usage by other apps (Flash player, etc.).
